Top Shot Shooting Facility Safety Rules

  1. No firearms with more energy than a .375 magnum caliber allowed on range without permission from range officials. NO .50 BMG CLASS WEAPONS!
  2. No cross shooting of targets on the range. Shoot only the target that corresponds with the bench number from which you are shooting. Be mindful of what is behind your target; be sure you are shooting into a berm or backstop.
  3. Firearms must be placed in the rack with action open when not in use. (Open bolt indicators are suggested.) Never load a firearm until it is on the bench and you are sure the range is safe.
  4. Firearms must be removed from benches, placed in the racks, and all ranges mad safe before anyone is allowed to go forward of the shooting benches or down range on the rifle range. No handling of firearms while anyone is down range. Do not go down range on the rifle range while someone is shooting on the pistol range; ask them to stop shooting and wait until the range is safe before going down the rifle range. Never shoot on the pistol range while anyone is down range on the rifle range. Pistol range shooters should make sure the rifle range is safe and clear before shooting.
  5. Any time a cease fire is called; all shooters on all ranges must stop firing and make their weapons safe until a resume fire is called.
  6. Paper targets only on the range. No shooting of cans or bottles on the range at any time. Do not shoot any steel targets on the range, other than the steel gongs at 300 yards on the rifle range without permission from range officials.
  7. Do not shoot any animal or bird on the range.
  8. Anyone under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied by an adult when using the range facilities. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
  9. Any person acting or behaving in an unsafe manner will be asked to leave the range immediately without benefit of return of their range fees.
  10. No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs of any kind allowed on Top Shot Shooting Facility property at any time.
  11. No vehicles (other than golf carts) are allowed down range without permission from range officials. All vehicles must be in the designated parking area.
  12. Persons using range facilities must have a range pass or membership card on their person at all times when using the range to show range officials when asked. (Expect to be asked.)
  13. ALL PERSONS USE THE RANGE FACILITIES AT THEIR OWN RISK!!! Top Shot Shooting Facility will not be responsible for any injury due to firearm condition, firearm malfunction, or any ammunition malfunction of any type or kind.
  14. Eye and hearing protections must be worn by all shooters and spectators at all times while anyone is shooting on the range.
  15. Shot targets and trash must be properly disposed of in trash containers located throughout the facility.
  16. Spent casings must be disposed of in casings buckets.
