Military Rifle Match

Shooting military rifles at 100 & 200 yards. All rifles must be military issued battle rifles.

A-50 Class:1950 and older semi-automatic rifles. Rifles must be military issued semi-automatic battle rifles with a patent date preceding 1951 with no modifications; entire rifle must be as issued. Iron sights only. No optics.

B-50 Class: – 1950 and older bolt action rifles. Rifles must be military issued bold action rifles with a patent date preceding 1951 with no modifications; entire rifle must be as issued. Iron sights only. No optics.

A/R Class: – Any AR-10 or AR-15 style battle rifle, as issued. Rifles such as SX/AR and M1A will shoot in this class. Iron sights only. No optics.

SKS/AK Class:Any SKS/AK-47 style rifles with no modifications.Mini 30 and 30 Carbine will shoot in this class. Iron sight only. No optics.

Open Class:Any military style rifle with any sight. Scoped A/Rs and rifles with diopter sights will shoot in this class. No benchrest stocks allowed.

All matches will be shot from the bench with front bi-pod or rest and rear bag style rests. No one piece rests allowed. Front and rear rests must be separate.

Course of fire will be as follows: 10 shots for score at 100 yards and 10 shots fro score at 200 yards. Possible score of 200 points and X count will be the tie-breaker. Ties on score and X count will be broken by counting the next least shot in the 200 yard target until the tie is broken. Time limit for all relays will be 25 minutes.

*Front bench rest or bi-pod and rear bag style rests only. No one piece style rests are allowed. Front and rear rests must be separate and cannot be connected together in any way.
*Shooters may shoot as many classes as they wish and shoot as many relays as time permits.
*Shooters must return their rifles to the rifle racks with the action open when they are finished shooting a relay to make the range safe. Absolutely no handling of rifles while anyone is down range.
*Eye and ear protection is required for everyone.
