Shooting.22lr, .22MAG, .17HMR, and 17.Mach II at 50 Yards

Youth division in all classes for shooters 16 years old and under

Custom Class – Any .22 long rifle, with any action, barrel, stock, and optics (Unlimited Class)

Factory Heavy Barrel– Any factory heavy or varmint barrel .22 long rifle with any optics. Barrel and action must be factory and unaltered (as it came from the factory with no modifications). No flat bottom or benchrest stocks. Factory Custom Shop rifles must shoot in the Custom Class.

Hunter Weight Rifle – Any factory hunter or sporter weight .22 long rifle with a factory tapered barrel, with any optics. Complete rifle must be as it came from the factory and unaltered. Rifle must have a sporter style stock.

Iron Sights Service Class – Any .22 long rifle with open or peep sights.

Semi Automatic Class – Any semi-automatic rifle in .22 long rifle. Any barrel, stock and optics as long as it is a semi-automatic rifle. Ammo must be fed from the magazine. No single feeding of ammo is allowed in this class.

Tube Fed Class – Any .22 long rifle with a tube fed magazine (bolt action, pump, semi-automatic, or lever action is allowed). Tube may feed through the rear stock. Ammo must be fed from the tube. No single feeding of ammo is allowed in this class. Optics on the tube fed rifles is limited to 9 power maximum. If your rifle has a scope capable of more than 9 power, it must be set and taped at no higher than 9 power.

Course of fire will be as follows: All classes will shoot at 50 yards, 10 shots for score with unlimited sighter shots. Possible score of 100 points and X count will be the tie-breaker. In the event of a tie on score and X count, there will be a tie-breaker determined by the range officials at the match.

22 Magnum, .17HMR, and .17 Mach II will shoot at 50 yards, 10 shots for score with unlimited sighter shots. Possible score of 100 points and X count will be the tie-breaker. In the event of a tie on score and X count, there will be a tie-breaker determined by the range officials at the match. All styles of .17 rifles and .22 magnum rifles compete in this class. (Custom, Factory Heavy Barrel, and Hunter class rifles all compete against each other in one class.)

 

Time limit for all relays will be 15 minutes. Any shots fired after time has been called will disqualify that shooter’s total target from being scored for that relay.

*Front bench rest or bi-pod and rear bag style rests only. No one piece style rests are allowed. Front and rear rests must be separate and cannot be connected together in any way.
*Shooters may shoot as many classes as they wish and shoot as many relays as time permits.
*Shooters must return their rifles to the rifle racks with the action open when they are finished shooting a relay to make the range safe. Absolutely no handling of rifles while anyone is down range.
*Eye and ear protection is required for everyone.
