Shooting: 300 yard rifle match in 4 classes
Youth division in all classes for shooters under 16 years
No rifles larger than 300 Magnum allowed in any match.
Custom Class – Any rifle with any action, barrel, stock, and optics.
Factory Heavy Barrel – Factory heavy or varmint barrel rifles. (Barrel and action must be as it came from the factory and unaltered in a factory caliber.) No flat bottom or benchrest stocks. Any optics allowed.
Hunter Weight Rifle – Factory hunter or sporter weight rifle with factory tapered barrel. Complete rifle must be factory stock and unaltered. Rifle must have a sporter type stock. The only alteration allowed is the trigger may be replaced or altered as long as it functions safely. Any optics allows.
Service Class – Any rifle with open or peep sights (target sights allowed).
Course of fire will be as follows: All classes will shoot at 300 yards, 10 shots for score with unlimited sighter shots on sighter target. The steel gongs may also be used as sighter targets. Possible score of 100 points and X count will be the tie-breaker. In the event of a tie on score and X count, there will be a tie-breaker determined by the range officials at the match.
Time limit for all centerfire relays will be 20 minutes. Any shots fired after time has been called will disqualify that shooter’s total target from being scored for that relay.
*Front bench rest or bi-pod and rear bag style rests only. No one piece style rests are allowed. Front and rear rests must be separate and cannot be connected together in any way.
*Shooters may shoot as many classes as they wish and shoot as many relays as time permits.
*Shooters must return their rifles to the rifle racks with the action open when they are finished shooting a relay to make the range safe. Absolutely no handling of rifles while anyone is down range.
*Eye and ear protection is required for everyone.
